In the video I learned that our goal is to get into heaven. When we die we our judged in out particular judgment. We can either receive  heaven, eternal communion with God, Purgatory, temporary purification, or Hell, eternal separation from God. Once the decision has ben made the bodiless soil cannot change that.

MR 5.A analysis on Ascension

The pope is in a sense a monarch. Jesus intended it to be this way as he gave his authority to the apostles and them only however Jesus did not plan for the corrupt popes. The historic view of the papacy has been etreemely marred by, as Fr. Longeneck said, money and abuse of power. However, looking at the papacy biblicly, we see evidence for the papacy as it stands today. The Nicene Creed says that authority was passed down through the appostles not randomly as a democracy would have. Therefore, the church could be lead by the few ordained by the appostles. Fr. Dwight says that the church resembles christ's kingdom, and therefore needs a sole ruler on earth to control and guide his church until judgment day when Jesus reclaims complete control of the church.

MR 4.F Analysis

The followers of Christ would not take a lie so far as to die for it. If the events surrounding Christ's public ministry, passion, and resurrection were not true and the apostles invented the "stories" then they would not have died for their faith. The apostles knowing of the "lie" they were spreading would most likely come clean when put to death. Why would they go to their deaths knowing what they were dying for was a lie?
These people that died were eyewitnesses of Christ and things he did. They are not just promoting the things that they believe in the also are promoting that what Christ did for us was a real event and not just a lie. Because the apostles were supporting what they saw and died for what they saw, it supports the event, it gives credibility to it.

MR 4B Mid level Activity

What stands out in this image the most to me it that the words God and Jesus are used more often than the word devil. This shows that God and Jesus are more important than the devil hinting as to why Jesus remained faithful to God and his Word.

MR 4.A Mid Level Activity

This idea Sketch shows why Jesus fulfills the Protoevangelium at Cana and Takes on our sin at his baptism. It is unique from others as the vibrant colors really pop out of the screen if you look hard enough and in the time you spent looking at it you have learned about why each of these events is theologically important.

What I learned

From the two videos we've watched I've learned that John showed that Jesus fulfilled the Protoevangelium by calling Mary woman. This shows he is the seed of the woman that would crush satan.
